    2. Pencil and watercolor illustrations provide possible clues as to the whereabouts of Bear as a young boy searches high and low for him Readers will see a bear claw, bear paw, ears, feet, even a partial reflection in the mirror as he becomes increasingly frustrated at being unable to find what he s looking for It will be easy for readers to relate to his annoyance since he has looked everywhere only to find the stuffed teddy bear he was seeking right in his bedroom The surprise ending that reveals [...]

    3. A short story about a boy searching for a lost teddy bear at bedtime On each page there is a picture of a real bear that children would be delighted to find The boy searches his room, the downstairs of his home, his playground outside and even in the car before exclaiming he is ready for bed, only to return to his room and find the teddy bear under the rug in his room He happily picks it up and hands it to the real bear that has been following him and the last page shows the boy asleep on his be [...]

    4. I can hear the giggles already, and the shouts, as young children interact with the story thinking they know than the seemingly oblivious boy who is looking for bear They are in for a surprise. In the meantime, they will be getting the subtlest lesson about prepositions Is bear under the sofa will get shouts of No, he s behind the sofa And giggles Lots of giggles Great fun.I read the new 2017 Doubleday edition with different cover art that I like even better than the one pictured here.

    5. Where is Bear is about a little boy who lost his bear and can t seem to find it While he is looking for the bear we see in the illustrations that there is a bear in the background In the end we find out that he wasn t looking for the real bear but the toy bear. This book was silly and would be a perfect read for younger children The illustrations pull you in and make you wonder throughout the whole book when the boy is going to find Bear I liked this book would recommend it

    6. A great interactive read aloud for young childrena young boy goes in search of his bear and can t seem to find what the reader will see on each page The repeated line Where is Bear invites interaction and so does the narrative presented in a series of questions Story is presented with minimal words in a clever manner to engage emergent readers in an easy to replicate repeated reading.

    7. A young boy is looking for a lost bear Children will enjoy helping him look Readers will see part of a bear in each picture but the surprise ending will leave them laughing.A highly recommended storytime book

    8. This book for toddlers and up was super cute I can just hear kids screaming out where bear is A little boy is looking inside and outside his house for bear but can t seem to find him Is he right there

    9. Beautiful illustrations but the story is somewhat confusing The young boy is looking for his bear Yes, each page shows a bear but at first I thought the bear was his parent Hmm, rather confusing for me.

    10. We thought this book was very clever and cute, but Mr A age 2 got really scared and upset when it showed the little boy getting really upset Caution with the little ones.

    11. Surprise This book did not end the way I thought it was going to Adorable and humorous bed time story.

    12. Absolutely adorable A little boy is looking for bear And on every page there is a hint of a bear Toward the end of the book the boy in the story interacts with the reader.

    13. ahh, this one is super cute Loved the little twist at the end, but I wonder if very young children whom this book would be appropriate for will get it It may need some adult interpretation

    14. A twist at the end of this story sets it apart from other books of its type in the canon Readers will enjoy finding the bear hidden on each page and talking to the narrator.

    15. Cute with text and pictures that will appeal to young readers Avoid reading the copyright summary because it spoils the story s twist.
