    1. 3.8 stars Classic Robin Alexander though I ve gotten used to her brand of humor so no laughing out loud for me and the side characters now all are jumbling together in huge pile of wacky older ladies Overall a solid read and a good detox material from some of the angsty books other authors write.

    2. Robin Alexander never disappoints This book had me laughing out loud on several occasions It s a light, funny romance with awesome characters and over way to soon Such a road trip is definitely on my bucket list, I already googled Bigfoot sightings

    3. Definitely what I would call a fun read Robin has a way of getting these fairly short, unfussy stories just right for my tastes The characters though often a little like caricatures stand out strange or different enough to want to keep reading their antics, yet real and normal enough to identify with at least on some level The story was cute, funny, lighthearted, and romantic Yes there is the problem of the whole falling in love mad quickly scenario, but these books are pretty quick reads, meant [...]

    4. Mmm It s the same, but lifeless.Jill is being forced to take a road trip Her quirky grandmother and close family friend have decided to get out of dodge and see the world or at least the couple of nearest states to where they live That family friend has piled her niece Shay into the campervan as well, in a transparent attempt at match matching Two young lesbians and two old meddling ladies How badly could it go Alexander has thrown a dud Not bad, mind just a dud The two main characters are bland [...]

    5. Three old women a grandmother and her sister a long time next door neighbor who both see the other as a sister and a third friend of similar age, set up a meet up between two lesbians involving relatives As in, the grandmother s granddaughter, and the third friend s niece Neither of the younger generation set knows what s going on.Book starts immediately with three people a fourth is there as well, though not immediately obvious she s sleeping driving along in an RV not a bus that joke I did not [...]

    6. If you re a Robin Alexander fan then ignore this review For the rest of you who are still looking for reviews as to whether this book is worth your dollars or not I have to say, I don t get it No disrespect intended to Ms Alexander and or those who love her work but this is the second one of her books that I have read that attracted rave reviews that left me scratching my head wondering what is so good about them that I was missing.I don t mind a bit of insta love but for me this went from ambiv [...]

    7. disappointedI LOVE Robin Alexander books I ve read them all Gloria s Inn is one of my all time faves I look forward to each and every new offering So, it pains me to say the trip was a disappointment The humor felt contrived, the story was a little different but bizarre in places Just really did not live up to the high expectations I have for a Robin Alexander book It was ok.

    8. Great funYou can t go wrong with a Robin Alexander book her stories always bring a lightness to your day This story was no exception, the characters were funny and loving, the chemistry between Shay and Jill was great fun to share Can t wait for the next one.

    9. Hilarious, crazy, sweet and I loved it.Omg, this was a hilarious trip I wish those two grannies were my grannies Everything that came out of the mouths of these two little old ladies was hilarious I did laugh out loud from the beginning to the end I loved the part of the hammock, that was so much fun There is a lot of humor in this book This, you can t explain, you have to read it yourself The romance was so sweet and felt so real All the characters were awesome For me, they were all main charac [...]

    10. This is a nice, sweet read Because it s a Robin Alexander, it s filled with zany characters and some over the top situations, but the characters are all likeable enough The two leads spend plenty of time together by virtue of the road trip and get to know each other quite well, and unlike most other lesfic books, it doesn t end the moment they get together I ve only given it three stars because I did find the overall zaniness , and the grandmothers antics a little too much sometimes, and there a [...]

    11. Laughed so muchThis is my first time reading a book from this author and will buy I laughed so much that my cheeks were hurting it reminded me so much of my Grandma The grandparents in this were hilarious especially during the hammock commentary The main characters were great as well I hope there is a second book for this.

    12. Robin Alexander always has a characters with a great she s of humor This book is full of characters It was a fun ride

    13. Kept me laughing.Robin did it again.a great story line and characters that you fall in love with right off the bat and make you laugh so hard.

    14. Can t get past 15%Jill is an asshole She calls her a drug addict cause she has a headache and is stuck in the car with 3 woman one of each could give you a headache And says she s not my type not enough make up Wtf I haven t got past the beginning but Jill is like the straight white male in every heterosexual tale where a woman is just an object it seems Who makes first impressions like that And is just hostile for no reason I may finish this book since I bought it One day And change my review B [...]

    15. This is a laugh out load bookRobin Alexander has once again made me wanting She has such an amazing way of writing, she pulls you in and keeps you so engaged you won t want to put the book down There was a line in the book that drew me back to Just Jori, I m sure you will know it when you hear it I laughed so hard The relationship between Anne and Ella was so intamite it was hard to believe they were sisters best friends.I loved the courtship of the main characters as the books journey went on. [...]

    16. I really enjoy Robin Alexander s worksI m never disappointed with this offer Like all her books, this one was easy going and hilarious I found Shay and Jillian s relationship pretty adorable and like that it was gradual I must say though, Anne and Ella were hilarious even if they did ruin the mood sometimes Definitely recommend this book.

    17. 2.5 star i nearly give up this book but i had to finish so i read it I m bit disappointed by this book one thing i like it bit humour other then that i don t find anything to like this book

    18. When duped into a match making set up of a road trip, will Jill and Shay fall for each other or will it end in disaster Another hilarious Robin Alexander novel with a good falling story and two cantankerous old lady side kicks.

    19. I really needed something light hearted and funny this totally hit the spot I literally laughed out loud at times Thoroughly enjoyed it.

    20. The first 1 4 of this book was hard for even a fan like me to get through While it s understandable for a character in this situation, having her act like a whiny petulant asshole for a good chunk of the book makes it hard for the reader to get invested in Especially if we have a tired setup like woman only indulging in casual flings cause she was burned once woman who can t find Ms Right I can barely even remember what happened on those pages, they feel that pointless and also like a much infer [...]

    21. The book club I belong to featured this book for August as a read for the whole group and although I hadn t come across any of this authors works before, I always think that s not a reason for not trying something outside your comfort or familiarity zones, so I downloaded it to my kindle Although it s slow to start with, The characters are enough to draw you in and keep you curious, then there s the humour in the book which is punchy, even sarcastic in places I loved the older antagonists that J [...]

    22. This is making me emotional, I feel like I m saying goodbye I know we had lives before this but I can t seem to really remember mine Okay This is one of those books that will make you laugh hard I love all the characters especially Ella and Anne I hope to be as cool as those two if I ever grow old, they re bombs Jill and Shay took a good amount of time to even get to the point of even just liking each other but it didn t disturbed the flow of the story I love being a witness to these two open up [...]

    23. Charmingly funny as usual, however I just couldn t connect with Shay She felt like a dull, flat character While she is the kind of layered character that may seem ultra shy to start, her progression through the story felt almost disjointed. In saying that, it IS a Robin Alexander book, therefore it s sweet and funny I usually enjoy her books this one felt like it was about the trip hijinks than the characters for me.

    24. OMG SO FUNNYI have yet to read a book Robin has written that I did not enjoy The Trip is laugh out loud funny with a good romance to go along The antics and bodily functions of Ella and Anne are hilarious The relationship that develops between Shay and Jill is very sweet Oh and the love Dale has for Sally, is so remarkable You want to laugh until you cry You gotta buy this book

    25. So much laughing Yet again, Robin Alexander delivers I laughed so much through this book I loved the characters, the plot and the hilarity I loved every minute of this book and I will definitely be reading it again down the line.

    26. Lesbian romance novels Keep being fluffy, cute, and funny But please stop having the characters fall in love in two weeks We don t need to perpetuate that damn UHaul stereotype This one was just okay It was pretty clunky and cliched.
