    1. 3 STARS This job is changing you Is that good or bad Change is like new clothes It all looks good on the rack, but then it takes a while to figure out if you made the right choice It s got to feel good on you, right This book is a shining example of cliche done ALMOST right And it s been a while since I enjoyed a predictable, contemporary romance book that I can ALMOST turn a blind eye over the things that didn t work for me except this forced me to do something I ve never done since fourscore a [...]

    2. Received a copy from NetGalley for an honest review.I feel like I missed something Why was it such a big deal that Miles and Sophie were broken up the whole time I get that she didn t want to feel like a dirty little secret, but at the same time, I feel like she should have been glad that the man she loved wasn t a cheater I didn t get itA few other things that bothered me How do you reference Jared s coke problem and possible using again, but then never actually deal with it How was Jacoby will [...]

    3. Forbidden love Alanna falls for her brother s best friend right before he left for college breaking her heart When they meet again as adults the passion and pull between them is too strong to deny however relationships are absolutely forbidden between co workers Alanna is artistic and kind but her lack of self esteem became a really character flaw for me I wanted to scream at her that she is worth and that Miles is a scum bucket I almost stopped reading it but I finished and I am glad I did Onc [...]

    4. Hold Me Tight has got quite a few aspects that sucked me right into the story Alanna s and Miles relationship is given a second chance, a decade after their first chance Their relationship is forbidden and Miles best friend Jared is Alanna s big brother And both characters are a bit broken, Alanna, by years of dealing with her father not accepting her calling as an artist, and Miles, by an unexpected event that changed the course of his family s lives, which led to an abrupt breakup and conseque [...]

    5. This is a really well written book, using language that gives bold images, but I feel lacks a true emotional connection While the story of Alanna and Miles is intriguing and interesting, the telling takes on some curves that distract from the relationship building A couple of parts I really enjoyed and felt build that emotional tie with the characters were when Alana, Miles and her brother return to their childhood home where it re establishes that bond between the 3 of them and allows the reade [...]

    6. ARC is given by netgalley for an honest reviewThis is the first book I read from this author and I must say I was quite impressed This is the book all about deniable attraction due to in my opinion not very level headed mind of a very control freak man Added in family drama and old lovers rekindle in an awkward circumstances and you have a very good book Overall I do love the main characters especially considering the sometimes not so believable plot scene but, it is worth your money spend Alana [...]

    7. There was a time when I just got tired of the sneaking seemed to go on for hundreds of pages not really but once over the hurdle of that the story moved right along When brother Jared appeared in the story I wondered why he was coming into the book at that time and why did he have to have a problem as it didn t seem necessary to have that in the story at all Anyway, I nearly crawled out of my chair to pace along with the scene towards the end at the agency when so much happens at once.well writt [...]

    8. Good read with good central characters and drama did not like many of the secondary characters, though I liked the connection from eleven years ago, as it made the progression of the relationship not seem sleezy I would ve liked to see Miles man up to Geoffrey while he was in the hospital I felt that was an opportunity missed I didn t care for Elijah at all Where was the wonderful mentor To say I didn t like dear ole Dad would be an understatement Not a fan of Mom s either Isaac wanted what Mile [...]

    9. Second chance at love story Hold Me Tight is the first in a new series centered upon artists I found it to be a strong introductory novel, but as such, perhaps a little heavy on the scene setting and character introduction Though the storyline was intriguing, and the lead couple engaging, the pacing seemed a bit uneven Talia Quinn does, however, create very engaging characters, easy to connect emotionally The chemistry and passion are definitely part of the story and the encounters quite sensual [...]

    10. I received a digital copy in exchange for an honest review In my personal opinion the characters need it to have just a little bit emotion While alana pretended to be someone else in the dark and miles went along with it, all the sneaking around was just too much a was a bit naive to think that he will never know and he need it a bigger push While I end it up loving the story anyways they just need to be honest about it each other since it really hardito forget your 1st Love

    11. Review copy. Not a good fit for me.Some good concepts and a thankfully non Mary Sue heroine I wasn t particularly fond of the characters involved, but I can see the book s appeal for others Not a fan of the lust after the heroine and use it as an excuse to find fault with the current girlfriend theme.Just based on the themes and actions, if the characters had been a bit younger I d have classed this as New Adult.

    12. I really want to give this book 4 stars Miles and Alanna s chemistry is great and I felt like Talia Quinn Surova did a good job writing the forbidden but all consuming romance, especially the flashbacks But I have such a hard time seeing Alanna as a real person when her first and repeated instinct upon seeing her ex after 11 years in the work place is to lean in for a kiss that he s not offering Multiple times.

    13. I love a story of forbidden love and this book kept me captivated from the very first page. The characters were really well developed and had good chemistry and relationships within the book.Hold me tight is a easy read that flows well While I don t think this book is going to win any great awards or stay with you for days while you mull over the story it was a fun bit of escapism.

    14. I received a digital copy in exchange for an honest review. While this is not prize winning literature, it sucked me in Finished it in one evening and stayed up until 1 00AM to finish it sucked me in.Miles and Alanna have a past and it was fun to watch them work their way back together.

    15. Romance 2 starsChemistry 2 starsSizzle 3 starsAlana thought she d never see Miles again this all changes when she appliesfor a job at the firm he works for Shame there s a no fraternisation with otherstaff policy.True love triumphs.Nice little read.

    16. I enjoy the writing style of this author The story concept was one that I had not read before I liked the characters and how they were developed Well written I will read from this author.
