There are not many picture books with sounds, and too many of the ones that do have sound are irritating or repetitive Not so this one This book follows the different sections of the orchestra as they prepare for their concert Each animal is pictured with his or her instrument and then you can push a button to hear the woodwinds or the brass or percussion or strings Each plays a different melody At the end, the orchestra plays all the melodies together and they blend into a beautiful symphony I [...]

I love reading this one Each page has different animals, different modes of transportation, and different instruments so when asked to read over and over there is always something new different to discuss And the wide range of instruments discussed and the sound buttons make this a good intro to instruments both my 1.5 and 4 year old love this book.


    3. Cute but awfully expensive for what it is and the batteries died the second time my child played with it, which renders the book pretty boring.Also, apparently you have to be a consultant to leave a review on their site, which explains why there are so many happy perfect reviews.
