    About "J.C. Antonelli"

    1. J.C. Antonelli

Writing is my passion I love the idea of telling a story that immerses in the reader in a different world with characters that are new and familiar at the same time To me, a good story is one that keeps surprising the reader as it unfolds A great story is one that echoes through the reader s head weeks, months, or even years after it has been read There is a Buddhist ideal that in order to live, we must be present in the moment, and that it is the journey, not the destination that is important I write with the hope that my books will be read with you enjoying the journey, curious about the end but not in a hurry to get there Feel free to email me at jcantonelli ymail I d love to hear from you.

    1. This book wasn t on my radar until a friend recommended it thanks, David But it proved to be well worth the read and further demonstrates that there are independent authors out there producing quality work, and who aren t getting the notice they ought to J C Antonelli is one of these This is, unabashedly, modern pulp action adventure, with a kick butt female protagonist a character type I like, as most of my friends know That doesn t mean it s without serious moral reflection or psychological de [...]

    2. Imagine you re a teenage girl who discovers she is the Annie Oakley of the greater San Diego area Now imagine that skill makes you eligible for a life of spy versus spy international intrigue In his debut novel, JC Antonelli makes this character come to life Equal parts tough as nails assassin and sardonic observer of the world around her, Samantha jumps off the pages at you as you follow her adventures Mixing humor and suspense throughout the story, Antonelli authored a page turner that never p [...]

    3. A high school girl becomes an assassin and falls in love with the son of her target I m not sure if it is really a Young Adult novel, although I can see how a teenager would enjoy it It s light and moves quickly and is really funny Jennifer, the main character, is diagnosed as being a sociopath, but she has a self awareness that makes her fun and not scary I was expecting of the typical, morose teen assassin like you see in the movies and in other books, and I was pleasantly surprised to find h [...]

    4. What a fun, well done first book I m excited to have found it Yes, it s a YA genre but it s not remotely juvenile, and yes, it s a pretty quick and easy read But unlike a lot of others, it went together well, had a very likeable main character, and a different premise. It s not War and Peace folks, but I d recommend it to anyone who reads for pure enjoyment.

    5. Funny Young Adult story The language can be a bit racy, but kids talk like that, and I guess if a girl is going to be an assassin, she is not worried about her language It kept moving A quick, fun read.

    6. Very different storyline I liked this book because the storyline was impossible and a change from the normal and the heroine was hilarious I love sarcastic humor.

    7. Entertaining holiday read great YA fiction, spies, feisty female lead, romance, rolled into quite the page turner.
