    1. I gave up No Lynne Graham for me in the future The last time I read a Graham book, I almost DNFed it because of some misogynistic crap that was in the book At that time, I understand why authors write that way because it was published around the 90 s But this book is published around 2005 so I have this expectation that though this may be a cliche and eye rolling romance, I expect something better. The Greek Tycoon s Convenient Mistress is so full of irritating scenes between the h and H The her [...]

    2. No time to write a proper review but here are my random notes didn t like the overly sunny, Pollyanna ish, doormat, gave up her life for family heroine, LG did a much better job with the heroine in Spanish Groom didn t like the hero, too much a jerkwad, too much abusive language, the you re a slut cuz you gave up your virginity to me scene didn t like the sex scene at the start, reading about characters having sex when I m not invested in them makes me feel skeevy too many misunderstandings too [...]

    3. Dumb virginal heroine jumps into bed and a two year affair because she s soooinluvvvv with hero Yucky a Pollyanna and a self styled martyr to boot Warning Don t give her two planks of wood as she ll merrily build her own cross I honestly think she deserved to be dumped in that manner in perpetuum until she learns to grow up and respect herself Hellooo If she s been living in with a man for two years and he doesn t even broach topic of long term commitment or introduce her to a single member of h [...]

    4. The trope Hero who thinks the heroine is only good enough to be his mistress Heroine doesn t realize this The conflict hero s sister lies and says the heroine was kissing an OM at her party Hero kicks her out and calls her terrible names, even throwing their first time together in her face She was a virgin and they met when he crashed his car avoiding her in the road They had sex in the barn where they sheltered The resolution view spoiler Heroine is pregnant and tells him The hero has been lone [...]

    5. Well, what can I about a book that has Greek , tycoon , Convenient , and Mistress You get what you asked for Hope aka the Harlequin doormat is on love with alpha Andreas who has as much confidence in Hope s ability to survive as he would a toddler The kind of heroine who defines TSTL and doormat, Hope finally figures out that Andreas will never love her.Lies abound with the H s horrible sister, and Andreas becomes abusive There should be a study on why we read about abusive heroes like this Andr [...]

    6. I think this one is tough to reviewI debated between a 1 or 2 stars Two stars because I had to keep reading it to see if she ever formed a backbone One star because I could not tolerate how spineless the heroine was Though I recognize that the heroine was really very sweet, she still lacked self respect I kept hoping that on the next page, she would let him have it But she never did Oh, she got angry, tearful and even closed the door on him But, she never stood up against his unconscionable acti [...]

    7. I am a great fan of Lynne Graham and I have to admit that after the 2nd time reading The Greek Tycoon s Convenient Mistress, I like it even than before I know.Andreas Nikoladis is an absolute jerk in the beginning he s rich, handsome, spoilt and believes that money can solve any problem in his life But one of the things the author is able to do is getting her heroes to redeem themselves and become better persons, and that s exactly what happens in this rather delightful and sweet romance.Hope i [...]

    8. 3.5 stars He is a manipulative bastard Never noticed his mistress paid for the food the ate at home, cleaned the apartment, etc he was super fast to believe his ex virgin mistress was cheating, obviously it was convenient at the time because she d just asked him after two years What are we Where is this going The only forgiving part is that he believed in his sister, too bad it was the evil slutty sister. The h lived in her pink world so I knew he didn t need to get off his high horse, she d forg [...]

    9. Two stars simply because the hero was unnervingly faithful and by the end of the book very unsecured about his place in the heroine s life.Otherwise, nothing really special for me, he has ZERO faith in her and ALL the faith in the world in the sister who has the moral of a most immoral being in the world He also ONLY offered marriage AFTER he had proof she was faithful, and just about two days ago he had thrown to her face that he will never offer her marriage. She should have NEVER married him.A [...]

    10. 3.5 starsI love the mistress who doesn t know she s a mistress trope This one was pretty good I liked that the heroine was a very up front, honest person and didn t hide the pregnancy from the hero I was a bit frustrated with her at times for her lack of pride, but she did finally reach a point where she wasn t taking any of the H s insulting accusations, otherwise I may have thrown my Kindle against a wall and caused some major damage.

    11. Nice mistress read This one had some strong elements. The story starts as these two meet each other The attraction is there and they know a relationship will start Then the book skips ahead 2 years to where the heroine starts to have doubts So no annoying flashbacks. When the heroine is accused of cheating, she tries her hardest to explain and make the hero listen to the truth She seems realistic in that she is vulnerable to him but not to the point of being a ninny Still I think it s realistic th [...]

    12. She was FAT and a DOORMAT Women should be confident no matter what shape they re in and body weight is modifiable But being a certified DOORMAT is unforgivableonce a doormat, always a doormat.Reading this was PAINFUL This should have never been published Actually, this should have never been written all P.S Did I mention she was STUPID too She did not know she was pregnant eventhough her monthly mestruation mysteriously ceased.About the leading male characterHe was NOT ADORABLE AT ALL I usually [...]

    13. Grade BFirst LG that I thought was good in 5 tries and that includes the overrated The Spanish Groom which has been voted Best HP here on GR It had two demerits that were guaranteed wallbangers going in LG s OTT sensibilities and a hero who doesn t believe in marrying his mistress but for once, the writing didn t assume that this reader was braindead and insulted my intelligence Might write a longer review later if I ever have the time and inclination because frankly, LG s OTT needs some skeweri [...]

    14. 4.5 stars.I found this to be an unexpectedly emotional read The heroine develops a spine and actually refuses the obligatory marriage proposal after pregnancy announcement.

    15. So this is actually one of my favorite books Yes the heroine, Hope, was TSTL and the hero, Andreas was an alpha male a hole however, Lynne Graham used all of my favorite HPlandia tropes in this book Hope is a mistress who doesn t realize she s a mistress She s used to people taking advantage of her so she doesn t realize how Andreas views her In Hope s defense, even though she s in her late 20 s at the beginning of this book, she s extremely innocent in pretty much every aspect of her life due t [...]

    16. Andreas Nicolaidis has an affair with Hope Evans but he is not serious about her since obviously before her he liked his relationships short and sweet Plus his father had married 3 or 4 times, not such a good role model Two years later the hero s sister makes the hero believe that the heroine is cheating on him and is having an affair with Ben Andreas is furious and breaks up with Hope Soon after their break up Hope starts dating Ben To me this is not an action of a woman who is a doormat so I h [...]

    17. I didn t like this book at all, though that may have something to do with my growing annoyance with harlequins The heroine is stupid plain and simple, and people use the term naive to describe it but in my experience naive is simply the polite version of stupid ignorant. She takes all this B S from the hero and still accepts him with open arms, yeah she tried to resist and even went out with ben for a while, I still think she was too easy on him and is just one of those perfect usable dolls that [...]

    18. There were a lot of highs and lows in this book Hope was a hopeless doormat for a while, and Andreas was a real bastard for treating her the way he did By some miracle the author s creative mind , Andreas redeemed himself enough by the time the novel ended for me not to hate his guts The ending was good.

    19. I don t know why this ended up in my TBR and I don t know why did I read it I regret reading this My God Andreas was a real jerk Partnered with a very forgiving heroine I can t even Hope should developed back bone in her body After Andreas treated her like that and she still offers him coffee Didn t do any justice for me.

    20. From 1 to 10 8.0 My personal rating scale I liked this book, and one thing I can t forget about the story is that in hero s POV was mentioned what he thought about heroine s bag designs LOLMaybe I will reread it soon

    21. This is a tough oneI liked the characters, I liked the story, but the story did not seem cohesive somehow A lot of leaps seemed to be made, the story was choppy and several things did not seem to stick together. He keeps her this dirty secret for 2 years and even acknowledges that he will not marry her, completely cuts her out of his life after one accusation of cheating, then moves expects to just take her back get her back He seems to show minimal remorse for his behavior, placing all the blame [...]

    22. 3.5 stars This book started off really good but the love scenes were terrible Being a little thicker than the normal HP with 284 pages, I also thought that the author could have done a better job on giving the reader a better feel for where they were I had no idea at times if the characters were in London or New York And of course the big mis understanding was annoying for most of the book, but the story had some really good scenes and at least I didn t start getting bored until it was almost fi [...]

    23. i cannot understand why some people loved this book the guy treated her like shit, called her names the guy was a complete bastard and the girl is stupid this book is an example of the the the bastard the guy is the better the the stupid the girl is the better come on, after all the things the guy said, she d just welcome him, and act as if she was wrong when the guy admitted that he was wrong, the girl just calmly accepted that shit seriously i don t know why this story is appealing if you fi [...]

    24. Loved the heartbreaking angst of the h s uncertainty in the H s regard for her, but in the end a highly unsatisfactory read He was beyond cruel and she was beyond stupid Enough said.

    25. Title The Greek Tycoon s Convenient MistressAuthor Lynne GrahamPublication Date January 1, 2005Type Paperback Harlequin PresentsGenre RomanceRating 3.5 out of 5 StarsAndreas Nicolaidis meets Hope Evans when he accidentally runs off the road during a snow storm when he swerves to avoid her She is sweet and innocent and he feels a strong attraction to her He seduces her that first night in a barn where they waited for the storm to end, then made her his mistress Two years later, Hope is thrilled t [...]

    26. awesome one so intense n emotionally exhausting it broke my heart how much hope loved andrea, how hurt she was when she realized he only considered her his mistress she was very naive n innocent n young she fell in love at 1st sight n adored him, he was the centre of her world andrea felt 4 hope than he realised he may consider her his mistress but he did not treat her as one it was not only sex wid her which interested him he cared abt her, loved listening 2 her endless chatter, loved her comp [...]

    27. I am a great fan of Ms Graham because of her alpha Greek heroes I honestly loved them Their arrogance, their domineering attitude, their possessiveness as well as their protectiveness But with this book, I found myself dropping jaw several times due to Andreas callous and cold treatment towards Hope I can t believe he thrown her out of the apartment And called her foul names because in his mind it s acceptable and the right thing cause he thinks she betrayed him with other man Where s the trust [...]

    28. I was waiting for her to stand up for herself and kick Andrea s ass for being the biggest douche bag ever, but it never fully came The moment I thought that she was about to give it to him, then boom, she goes back to the same helpless, sissy female who is so in love with the dude WTF I kept going hoping that her ridiculous act will end somewhere, but it DIDN T I mean, I dig the whole helpless chick character, but only in the beginning I would like to have her develop later in the story and emer [...]

    29. Don t waste time or money on this book I would have slapped the hero many times throughout the book The heroine most of the time wanted to forgive him, and take him back to bed The things he said to her were cruel, and mean He said he said them out of being jealous, and that he loved her Love does not tear people down This book does not deserve my review, but I just wanted to help you find a good book to read This is not the book
